Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is well renowned as a world class facility and was the venue for the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games for all aquatic disciplines.

From January 2014, the High Performance Squads, Swim Club and Aquatic Centre are proud to be recognised as a Swimming Australia Podim Centre for providing a pathway for high performance swimming.

The Aquatic Centre teaches the ideal balance of swimming skills and water confidence in a safe structured environment by providing a comprehensive learn to swim program catering from parent and babies to school age learn to swim. Combined with a squad program ranging from entry level mini squads focusing on stroke development to competitive squads leading up to the high performance elite squad swimmers who represent Australia at an International level.

Squad swimmers receive all the benefits and support from the most up to date and state of the art training techniques and facilities. Just recently launched at the Aquatic Centre and in partnership with NSWIS, a revolutionary new pool based altitude training system has been made available to the squad swimmers.

The SOPAC Swim Team based at the Aquatic Centre is one of NSW’s most successful highest performing swim clubs in Australia.
